We’ve Reached Over 80 Members!
We’re excited to announce that our aQuatonomous family has grown to more than 80 passionate members! This incredible milestone, compared to our 35 members last year, reflects the dedication and enthusiasm that everyone has for our mission. Together, we’re driving innovation in the field of autonomous surface vessels while contributing to important ecological research. The entire team is proud of this growth, and we’re eager to see what we can accomplish with such an amazing group.
First Sub-Team Meetings
Our sub-teams have officially kicked off, and the momentum is building! From Autonomy to Business to Mechanical, every team is fully engaged—strategizing, planning, and laying the groundwork for our exciting projects ahead. The energy and collaboration within each group have been amazing!
Sub-Team Highlight: Mechanical Team
This edition, we’re shining the spotlight on our incredible Mechanical Team! They’ve been working tirelessly on designing components such as the frame of the boat, ensuring it is both durable and efficient, laying the foundation for a successful build. Beyond the frame, they’ve also been conducting buoyancy testing and experimenting with adhesives to ensure every component performs at its best. We can’t wait to see their next steps in bringing the vessel to life!
